We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager!

Requirements:

  • Proven sales/business development experience and success within a medical communications/medical writing agency
  • Excellent in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Competent and confident over LinkedIn and the telephone
  • Excellent organisational, written, spoken and time management skills
  • Self-starter willing to make this role theirs and develop new arms to the business
  • Minimum degree requirement: Bachelor’s
  • Efficient use of time and resources

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new business
  • Selling or upselling the entire company solutions to new and existing clients
  • Self-lead generation via LinkedIn and Google
  • Build relationships via LinkedIn, email and telephone with prospective clients
  • Closing of sales over the phone or by booking further appointments with the decision makers for onsite meetings
  • Managing accounts, developing and continuing relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships and collaborations
  • Understanding marketing, particularly digital marketing, is advantageous

Remuneration:

  • Negotiable salary based on experience, minimum £35k – sales-based commissions, and performance-related bonuses – 5% of new sales and 2.5% of repeat business from managed accounts
